What we do
General Average
General Average is a legal principle of maritime law recognized by maritime nations, according to which all parties in a maritime adventure (vessel, cargo, container, bunkers and freight) proportionally share any losses resulting from a voluntary and successful effort to save the entire venture from a common peril.
In case of General Average, we render assistance to shipowners, cargo owners, charterers, insurers and insurance brokers and aim for a close communication and co-operation between all parties involved in the maritime adventure. We maintain a facility for complex cargo security collections.
Particular Average
Particular Average loss is a partial damage to or loss of the subject matter insured caused by a peril insured against, and which is not a General Average loss. The loss must be unforeseen or accidental to fall within the risks covered by the Hull Policy.
In case of Particular Average, we render assistance to shipowners, insurers and insurance brokers and aim for a close communication and co-operation in handling marine insurance claims.

Loss of hire insurance is covering loss of income resulting primarily from physical damage to an insured vessel. It goes hand in hand with the hull insurance, and may be seen as equally important nowadays.
